Hi, Treischel,
"The Beauty in the Ferns" is a excellent poem with very unusual and difficult rhyme scheme. It is very effective and the rhyme is good. The meter is good and the figurative language and imagery also very good ( a momentary flash, a brilliant splash)

A. Ice write, Treischel. A good poetic ambience surrounding the piece, regardless of the structure, but well incorporated within it.
Beautiful imagery, and I love the subject matter.
Have a good day,
RG

I felt transported by your photograph and your wonderful use of this form with its rhymes and pattern--a new one for me. I wish I too could be "Released to be as free as she"! Cheers- Joan

Ah, your mastery of the poetic fantasy is remarkable. I remain amazed how you're able to produce such a quality imaginative tales/scenes.

Oh, please review my chapter from my book, "How's it by you too?" It's titled, "Jim, the very accident prone man." Thanks

A lovely poem, Tom. You did your photo proud when you coupled them together. It is strange what inspiration we get just by looking at something a little differently. This was a pleasure to read. xsx Sandra

Dear Tom - Loved the picture and the poem. Beautiful pairing, excellent rhyme and read well aloud. I enjoyed it, and have seen something similar at Niagara Falls.
Well penned my friend.
Thanks for sharing.

This was a magical poem which melded the beauty of the dancing nymph with the glorious ferns. I liked these lines the best:
'What beauty dances 'midst the ferns
In twilight bright she twists and turns
So unadorned, without concerns'
Well done, Tom. Keep up the great writing.

I don't think I ever saw this form before. But I like it. I would have to study that, before I dare trying. I love the photo and the contents.

A lovely photograph--the various shades of green complement one another;
A well-penned poem capturing the essence of this lush foliage;
"naked nymph"--it's difficult to notice this mythical little creature amidst so splendid an abode.
Excellent!
At some point I believe we all wish we could reside in so lovely a place, albeit a short time.

Ferns are such awesome green foliage landscape. You can stirfry the budding curled leaves. It's very tasty. I tried it once, but it seemed wrong. They should blossom instead of being chopped young and sold in the Chinese grocery. Maybe it would be great as a side to veal.

Good visual imagery. Creative. Good rhythm and rhymes. Nice poem.
