Good poem about your muse. Good picture to make it complete. Good word flow and rhyming tell of a monster inside you. It sounds like you have no peace of mind.

Thanks, GWinterwin, I truly appreciate the review.

You're right, I have a clear conscience, but little peace of mind.

Wow what trip. Your poems take me into a world on roller coaster ride of emotions. Well done. I thought muses come in all shapes and sizes. You learn something new everyday, if not you must be dead. Right? Living dead. I always love reading and learning about a style of poetry or new facts. You never fail to make the reads worthy. Stan

Dear Dean you are really en emperor of horror, everything odd and strange, a master too of unique art work and adapting music to your poetry. What more can I say but bravo, my friend. Thanks for sharing us your gift.

this is very well written, dean, I know what you mean about those muses ruining sleep, but that is when I seem to get my best poetry. I just haven't had one in me for over a week so it's depressing me, as well as some other things going on

Well, I sure hope things get better for you, sweet. I have had 6 hours sleep in the past 3 days. That is two hours per day. The scary thing about it is, I'm wide awake!

Thanks for reading and reviewing this one for me.

oh you clever, horrid man you! You must be a total techno-genius to be able to post something like this on FS, Dean. Your master 'horror' touch shines loud and clear - your muse will sleep well tonight dear!
:)Sharyn

ps: not so sure I will though!

Hah ha, thanks so much, Sharyn, I'm glad you reviewed this one for me, and I certainly appreciate your kind comments. I have slept only a little over 6 hours in three days. Still writing, writing and more writing. I do hope you sleep well, though!

    Thanks again.

Thank you, Bunny, that's such a nice thing to say. I go wherever the wind blows me that day. I simply couldn't allow Mother's Day to pass on by without dedicating a poem to my wife for being such a wonderful mom. I wrote the other one weeks ago, and it's been languishing in preview mode until I'd saved up enough member dollars to properly promote it.

That explains a lot. Heh heh. J/K.
I love the poem. It definitely describes a vicious monster that won't let you rest until the story is told. I like that you put it that way, in particular, because everyone else sees the muse as a great thing, not a terrifying creature. It is understandable in your case. :)
The first line got cut off a little bit by one of your pictures, so you might want to move the text a slight bit to the left to get the full effect.
The pictures were perfect and I really love the addition of the music. It added so much to this piece.
Great work, my friend.

Well Dean, pleasant screams to you also. I don't know how you get your offbeat ideas to compose these monster themes, along with the horror photos, but they're very effective.
It's really interesting and pleasurable (?) to read such as this.

Dean, What is that saying don't ask what you get what you just might get it. But I think your muse is got your goat, so to speak. I found is your poem was very entertaining and very illuminative and in a way enchanting. I found your own writing to be very inventive and creative and your rhyming was neither forced, labored or strained while your rhythm flowed smoothly throughout your poem. Thank you for shying and posting this and may your writing be as fast as your thoughts.
