Moving along. I always like the Bard's words of wisdom. Some possible romancing going on. A good read and chapter. Captivated my interest. This looks good. Yep, I been absent, gone, visitation. Later Lion King.

Mikey, this is very fun. We are watching voyager currently on DVDs that we bought for every season. The Q is so much fun and you love to hate him. This chapter is a strong installment and makes the maze more interesting. :0 GracieAnn

I love the Star Trek inserts :) They are hilarious. So Harpster and Diamond reunite and it seems the flame is still there. This is another well crafted chapter.

Love the Star Trek stuff. "Next Generation" was my favorite, too.

Good plan and you've explained why they don't call in FBI and CIA. But you didn't explain why they didn't tell the news folks.

>> He had a butler, but he treated him like an employee

I don't thinkthat is what u meant to say.

>> Warped speed.

No ED, just WARP SPEED

I think the whole idea is that the only way to keep people safe is to keep a cap on Winston which means that everything has to be hush hush. Yeah, I didn't say the whole butler/employee thing right at all! "Warped" speed was supposed to be a little joke!! Yuk, yuk, yuk.... Can't trust the media, they'll get people killed. Still working on it. At least the pacific ocean hasn't moved....YET! mikey

I don't know why going public would get people killed. But you know what's going on inside char's heads. :)

This chapter was entertaining and moving forward. No I don't think you need a national incident but we need to get rid of that dirty traitor and Harpster and Diamond find they are still in love. LOL Good job! Nancy

I am totally sold on the premiss of keeping Harpster dead. An excellent twist that makes sense. I think to avoid bloodshed you arevgoing to have todiscredit Winston and screw up his deal. Maybe Tenaya undercover? You,ll fifure it out. Great poem!!! The scene at the end made me cry, jackass!! Ha!!!!! NG

I love Star Trek. Diamond and Harptser met again. It seems like the old sparks are still there. The lady detectives have to be very careful. Even their own Chief is involved with Winston. I am cheering got the ladies. I want to see Winston put in his place..

Great chapter, introduction of a new character seemed highly appropriate and good for the story line. Written in great style as always. Faye

I really liked the second half of this chapter; not so much, the first half. Although it was written in dialogue, it had a real narrative "telling" feel to it. Also, I find the "Star Trek" allusions confusing and unnecessary to this story which is so compelling already. I'd suggest you leave them out, and keep the references to old rock songs and singers. I think the Star Trek thing really detracts. I did like the poem a lot, though.
