Good sleight of hand in the beginning--getting me to believe
it's Rosie's body which is being exhumed.
A couple of things though. You say she started discreet, but then offer a laundry list of trysts. Thant doesn't quite line up. Then you mention bucks only being concerned with her wallet and not her looks. But aside from face-lifts, you never mention her looks. Doesn't quite compute.
Just my thoughts.

Sorry for the long delay in replying to your review ? no excuses but simply a matter of procrastination. "I must do..." I say every time I visit Fanstory, but ... well, better late than never! Thank you!

Whoa! You really threw me for a loop there, Phillip. All throughout the story, I'd assumed it was Rosie who was dead -- but as it turned out, I was wrong, and pleasantly so.
A classic ghost story my friend, and so well written. You keep the big "reveal" a secret until the very last line. That is the mark of an exceptional story teller, and a skill not easily learned or pulled off.
I so wish I had six stars left to bestow upon this one. A virtual six will have to suffice for now, along with my gratitude fro having entertained me with a truly chilling tale.
Bravo!
