Now, really, who doesn't LOVE Elvis???
The King.
I was just in Hawaii and they still replay his concert from 1073.
Thanks for the memories.
Elvis has left the building...LOL

An interesting and well informative style with a very interesting subject choice.
Evis was such an iconic persona that interest in his life is still maintained today.
Your poem has filled the criteria for a Bio poem quite effectively.
A great image choice.

Hi, Treischel,
"Elvis Presley" is good biographical information on Elvis in a non conventional format that meets the requirements of a "bio poem" you specified.

This poem accurately reflects Elvis to a tee. He was a greater singer and his death at the young age of 42 was a great tragedy but was bound to happen with the drug abuse. Another great legend, Michael Jackson met the same fate. Born to be famous and born to die young. Well done, Tom.

LOVE these bits:
Iconic voice and hair,
Full of energy, emotion, rhythm. and soul
Feared rejection, crazed fans, losing looks
Wanted to win Oscar, be loved by all
Twin brother died at birth. Elvis was a momma's boy. Served his country. Died on the toilet taking a poo. Interesting story to say the least. He was the greatest.

Thanks Stephen. Thought that was too much information, albeit true.

Dear Tom - I think you have just introduced me to a new format my friend. Following your author notes you've penned this perfectly. I was never an Elvis fan - not really sure why. He wasn't big in Scotland:)
Well done and thanks for sharing it.

Hi Tom
your 'Bio Poem' sums up very well, the pressures put upon an iconic figure. Their looks, confidence, and status hangs on the brink of rise and fall.
Great poem great read
