So now who is trying to take over the camp? I swear that camp gets attacked more than a poor middle eastern country. I like the bunker, I'm curious to see where you go with that. Of course, I'm so far behind now, that you have probably gone in three different directions my the time I read this.

Hahaha. You're right! The final chapter tonight. Somehow I have made it to the end. You have come up with some great input along the way. Most appreciated. I've fallen hopelessly behind in responses, but I have read every word and printed these all out for re-write. I think I have something I can work with here thanks to all the great input. Thank you kindly. mikey

Great chapter once more, my friend. I like your way of thinking about the National Parks. I think it's probably true as well. Our leaders will make sure they will be safe.

Mikey, this is an interesting installment that introduces another level of information about the abilities that Christine and Johnny have begun to hone. Good way to work in more provisions for the group. Well done. :0 GracieAnn

"a bunch of crazy bug-infested lunatics".>>>The period belongs inside the quote marks.

The San Andrea's fault (San Andreas Fault) >>>No need for an apostrophe, it's just the name of the thing.
"The pressure most of neutralized or been cushioned by the water. >>>Did you mean 'The pressure must have been neutralized or cushioned by the water'?

It appears (appeared) things hadn't gone as predicted right here in our little section of the world.>>>gotta stay in past tense.
sea of red and orange chemical soup didn't give me much confidence though.

The giant redwoods were bright green though >>>close repeat of 'though', which is an unnecessary word.

As I crumpled down beside her>>>'fell beside her' might be stronger. Crumpled means 'collapsed' and he just dropped to earth because she pulled him, he didn't collapse as if fainting or injured.

The story just keeps getting better & better. I agree with you. I have often thought that there were bunkers or underground bases strategically place all across the United States, more probably out west as it is less populated. I love the new "talent" they have acquired in mental telepathy!

I really like the irony of Barbara standing there amidst all the evidence of global warming saying that well, it is not so. Maybe the Pacific is so close because the earth is flat.

That's the funniest thing I've heard all year!! So having Columbus show up to rescue them is a no? Trying to find some scuba gear down here. Hahaha.

Interesting that so many stragglers are violent rather than adopting the "untied we stand; divided we fall" policy. I suppose that would be about right though.

If you take laws and rules away, humans quickly return to their most primitive state, and our survival instinct is stronger than anything else. Another great chapter.

Excellent dialogue, character development, fascinating discussions of theories of what might be going on. Just with that Malaysian plane that disappeared you see people all over the globe making wild speculations - I can just imagine the wheels turning if folks found themselves in this situation.
