Great rhyming with a twist of conflictual emotions all paying a game of love. Love and smote. This brings back memories of the pain I have experienced. Well done.

Thank you for your romantic Tyburn, where you appear to incorporate all the elements effortlessly. I must QUOTE your NOTE: "Oh, to be in love!" Smiles- Joan

A beautiful romance poem.
The Tyburn format has been used so effectively to reinforce
The message of love and devotion.
It sure explains the games thatnlovers play.
I love the imagery have chosen.

Sweet note
Emote
Devote
Love smote
To love devote, you'll become love smote
Then true love will emote a sweet note

Very clever indeed and I must admit difficult to connect words with 'ote' endings. Great job.

Hi, Treischel,
"Love Notes" is an excellent tyburn meeting all of the requirements of the form which require a difficult exercise of the poet's craft. But I would not call it exceptional poetry because I feel this requires more figurative language than rhyming of most the words of the same last syllable in the poem.
Your friend,
Preston
