Nice Charger! Looks like a classic, original. I used to take my 69 Chevy II Supersport to the track in Fremont, Ca. It was fun and loud, when we uncapped our headers. Burning them tires was a bonus, as we approached that Christmas tree. This brings back memories. Sometimes I dream about that Nova. I had a Corvette, LT-1 engine in her and a 4:11 rear end. positraction. Munson transmission and Hurst shifter, I put in myself. It was black with blue flames. I like this poem. just for the simple reason of bringing back them muscles cars that sounded awesome! Them were the beasts, not these rice burners loaded with gadgets. I liked it simple witha lot of room beneath the hood, no _ullshi-. Nice picture, is this your car? wackydo

Thank you Wackydo. No, not my car, I was at a car show. I do like the new Mustangs and Camaros. Loved you description, I helped my best buddy install a Hearst shifter and 4:11 rear end in his '57 Ford Galaxy XL convertible, black with white leather seats. That's what we cruised in,

Love that car in the picture. Reminds me of a red one just like it that a high school boyfriend drove. Ah the old days. I like the idea of this form having only two rhymes. Thank you for the trip down memory lane :)

Good end rhyming. Good perfect rhyming with car/far...need/feed...bar/tar. Good description that creates a clear image in my mind. Good complimentary photo followed by a clear message.

Haaaaa! Very creative INDEED! I thought I was getting ready to learn a new poem template...but I suppose I HAVE! Although, it is YOUR creation and I won't do that to MY imagination...but you HAVE inspired me to seek my OWN! Nice layout as well! Thanks for the awesome share!

You are so snowed in that I can feel your creative juices clashing about. Your car is great and your new form ready to emerge. A lovely verse you have transformed with a great story. Since I still love
my 25 year old Mercedes 560 SL I truly understand. Smiles, Robin :)

a real car tzar .. this is a whimsical, stellar little line!

Cigars .... the best Cuban, of course!

Loved the joyful energy in the reminiscences, Tom.

There's a vibrant bounce and boyish enthusiasm that is very compelling.

In case you haven't guessed ... loved it!

I love that you made up your own poem style. The poem was a delightful read. Great rhyming. I do love those old muscle cars. My Dad was a real "car guy". Brought back some memories. Great job!
