Not offended at all....but I'm not going to give you a hug. Nice mutton chops and good use of your poetic chops in this free verse. Do you or did you ever own a Harley?

Your picture is a wonderful accompaniment to this simple and effective poem. As you know, I have a beard. I am afraid mine is not seasonal, but requires regular trimming so as not to become grossly outlandish. The beard style is a new one to me as the chin is bare, mine is full. Well done.

An enjoyable free style poem and a glimpse into the life of the man behind the words. Impressive mutton chops (mo).
In Australia in the November the men grow moustaches to raise money for Leukemia research- a very worthy causeit also raise awareness of the condition.

Could be the tradition is due to the deer hunting season? Love the photo. Nice poem to go with it. Very Elvis-esque. Enjoyed this, Tom.

A much different photograph than in your Fanstory profile;
I like this photo--great pose!
If we can't write about ourselves, who can we truly write about--a well-penned dedication to yourself--a pleasure to read a fun poem.
The book background emphasizes the fact you are a writer--books a natural surrounding for a poet.

I started grinning before I began the read ... the thought popped into my head: I wonder if Elvis would like this this if he were still around ..!!
Here's your hug, sir - we'll leave the 'staches to the guys!!

Hi,Treischel,
That is a distinguished photo, the smile much friendlier than your bio and sort of unusual.
"Mug Shot" is an excellent free style poem with aesthetically pleasing structure with some good rhyme and good flow which brings a smile but does not resonate for 6 stars.
The ladies have other quality features.

Great write. I love this, and what a humble write?
A perfect gentleman, and let none tell you different.
This made my day, and what a handsome man, posing against your literature.
Brilliant.

A refreshing writing artistically
phrased showing off the man behind
the mutton chops, what really
lies beneath what we can see.
Well done
