There is a great message in this piece and the way you kept the Ks together creating an image of an unyielding army of Ks. Well done.

What an interesting snippet of history you present here.
Very harsh times existed in these early times.
The 5A poem appears to be a very ordered style and format.
I appreciate the time, thought and skill required to produce this fine piece of poetry

This is a very clever format. I have never heard of a 5A poem before. I enjoyed the history you offered in your author's notes. Very well done.

You have taught me another new poetic form, I like this and will try it soon! I like your K alliteration and good word use. I just wasn't sure what "knowing kindness keeps" meant!

    Thank you twinklepoem. It means kindness has lasting value, therefore they protect the pilgrims for prayers and donations.

A well-penned 5A of historical significance;
Great creativity incorporating the consonant of "K" throughout the entire writing;
Ah, the medieval days of knights--where have they all gone?
A pleasure to read a poem with a centuries' old theme.

    Thanks Margaret. Not a lot of vowels in K words.

And you are a King today with this running alliteration of K-words. Good narrative as short as it may be... It is to the point. Good artwork. Nice.

Have a great weekend :)

Hi, Treischel,
" Kneeling Knights" is a quality 5a poem with all words alliterate and 5 syllables in each of 3 lines. It coherently describes a quality of the Knights Templar. I appreciate the historical note.

Nice job and I just love to learn more history. What we tend to
romanticize, with the era of knights in shining armor. Many tales of honor and
good vs evil. Well gone. Robin :)

I love these and I enjoyed this one. You were my first inspiration to write one of these GREAT 5A poems. I enjoyed reading them and the format is just perfect.
