The most thrilling and ultimately tragic day in my life! What a great twist in the end. Of course, not everyone is ready to take on a child, one that will take all your money with your blessing. Lol. They cost us a fortune, well not mine, their children are now costing THEM fortunes!!goodness.

What a way to bring in a little one. Taxis can be nasty things to ride in, and I'm thinking it's not sanitary enough to deliver a baby. I hope that's not what you meant by "tragic."

Image is terrific to accompany your story. Reader gets caught up in the plight of the couple and the taxi driver. Although the ending is ambiguous, it leads to the belief that something didn't work out as planned, setting the stage for a longer story.

I am always in awe that some one can say so much in so few words. I thought that I have had some pretty bad things happen to me in my life, but never this. Such events do take place. It was an impressive read. Wish you the best of luck and thank you for sharing.

This works well as a 'teaser' to get someone hooked into a longer story, but it also stands quite well alone There is a complete event here though I expect there may be more of a story to come!
