I think you deserve six stars for this beautiful diatelle. I expect this was quite a challenge, but the result is a very lovely poem with graphic images. Great job.

You're welcome.

This Diatelle has such a smooth flow. Starting with one syllable and ending as you started with one, I know was probably not easy. There's some alliteration of W & T words. Now, for some hot chocolate. Wonderfully written. Les

Thank you very much Les. No it wasn't easy, but worth the results.

You're an "adventurous soul" to accept the challenge of a Diatelle. I get a clear picture of snowy weekends and skiers off to the alpine lodges where they can take shelter from the storm afterwards. One slight flaw: WeatheR ends(?).

I like the shape of your diatelle. It's like a reflected snow peak. That gives great support to the lovely words in your winter holiday poem.

This is quite an accomplishment! Seems like a very difficult rhyme scheme to follow. You did it well! I alos like the way you shaped it into a diamond, bery dreative!

You continue to amaze me. This is delightful and the format even looks like a snowflake!
I have learned so much about poetry from you. Thank you, not only for your great creativity, but also for your copious notes. I read each one and you have taught me so much about poetry.

Hi, Treischel,
This is an excellent diatelle with good flow, rhyme, figurative language and imagery. It has a good structure.
It sets an exciting mood for the winter season.

Very well done and clever the way the rhyme scheme is set. This makes me cold which I like. I get tired to the hot, humid Florida days. We are supposed to get into the 30s this week. So far it hasn't happened. Hope you have a nice Thanksgiving. Rox

Hi Tom,
What a wonderful poem, using the Diatelle poetry form, it was a pleasure to read...Obviously I have been missing something..there is so much fun written into the lines of your poem....I'm an old gal, too old for skiing, but I do enjoy the snow..
Thanks for sharing this with us!
Hugs,
Victoria
