You had better take some lessons the Tres, ha,ha,
Don't worry, no shame, most of us would be beaten by the new generation
A nice image,
better luck next time.
Best wishes

Thanks RG. Might as well be using my toes.

Internet gaming is definitely a pursuit already popular and surely becoming more so each day.
The concept of young children already being seasoned players is worrying though I have no doubt that this is probably already the case.
A controversial subject which has been highlighted and presented well in this 5-7-5 poem.

Than do not ever get a fighting game like mortal combat. I practice and practice to take on my son and he just mashes the buttons , the same simple move over and over, and grinds me into the dust.

You are so right we old buggers cannot compete with these kids as far as computers and internet are concerned. Unlike us they were raised on this stuff. Question though is it a good thing or bad? I preferred climbing trees when I was a kid!

LOL!
A well-penned 5-7-5;
It's true though--today's kids know it all in the technological world!
A pleasure to read a writing providing a chuckle!

Hi, Treischel.
This is an excellent 5-7-5 poem with the correct line syllable count for that form and makes a coherent statement.
Welcome to the 21st century the century that belongs to the young.

So short, sweet and full of truth!. My grandson 27 months old and he can work a cell phone better than I can. The few times I have tried internet games, I may as well be using my toes to manipulate the controls.
But, isn't there so much joy in seeing how well his young mind can diagnose games? Have fun the next time yoy play.

Internet gaming
I'm embarrassed when I get
beat by my grandson
I've never played but the generational competition or more to the point, the passing on of that flame is well portrayed in the piece.

Thank you Stephen. Beware the electronic dexterity of the younger generations.
Comment from Dean Kuch
Ha ha, you too, Mr. 'T'? Well, I don't have any grandkids yet, unfortunately, but both my daughter and my son beat up on me mercilessly at whatever game I paly against them. It just ain't fair! (LOL!)...
Hey, at least you're getting to spend time with them, and that's the most important thing.
Funny stuff, well done!
