I enjoyed these rhymed quatrains, I thought they had a good flow and a simple feel to them overall that really works well with a large audience. There were some key alliterations that really amped up the linework and overall the aesthetic works well with the holiday theme. Great work and thanks for sharing.

Great fun! A lovely description of all of the various pumpkin carvings and a bit of a twinkle in the tale as well as the tail! Thoroughly enjoyable and not quite so gruesome as some!

You have managed to combine two of the main elements of Halloween - firstly the slightly scary fun of trick or treating and then the more scary part - ghouls and dead things out celebrating.

Strong rhyme and meter and a sense of fun.

An absolutely beautiful read! WISH I would have caught this ON Halloween instead of after it as the children, at their party, would have had incredible fun with it!

You write good rhythmic verse. It supports this imaginative take on the Halloween theme. I love the section where the pumpkins rise up at midnight, and then shrivel and die. The grin at the end is a ghoulish touch. Well written!

This was a delightful poem just in time for the joyous holiday season. Nicely rhymed quads. Clever and witty. It really captured the spooky innocence of Halloween using the traditional pumpkin as an illustration. They make great beers and pies too.

Mwahhahaha!!! My smile grew and grew until I got to mwahah ... and then I was grinning widely!

I love the voice that comes through ... it's sort of scarily-cute ... if that makes sense!

I really enjoyed reading this children's poem, grama!
