What the heck? Now I have this image of hubby on the riding lawn mower, caught up in all sorts of nasty rubber balloons. Where did your mind ever come up with this analogy? I have this crazy image in my head,
very different, and different is excellent in my book. Not the same old blah, blah, dodododo...You definitely woke up my eyes with your ending, now I just gotta lift off the top of my head and look in...
thanks mike

Yeah! A riding lawnmower. Taking it up a notch. YES!! I know there is plenty in your head. Remember to put the top back on. Don't want anything spilling out. ha! mikey

Michael your full of surprises. Only you, can be creative, coming up with things others can't. Remind me of a camelion, adjusting shape and form, mimicking it's natural environment. There's nothing bad to say about this piece. Different from the norm, a lawnmover mowing a field of water. I never heard of that one, you got a big imagination and that's a good thing. Yor a creative thinker . . . most of all, I enjoy your poems because they are never boring, interesting. I recently updated my twister poemaiming for perfection. Let me know, if you have an insight or input on new types of poems. Like a bombshell, I think people are running for cover on this twisted prototype poem. They seem, shellshocked or confounded. Well, your style of poetry gave me the idea, it's a loaded bomb! later days, wackydo. I love your poem!

Funny guy, you are. The poem is hilarious, but you are right, I was too stupid to know it till the end when you told me. I love your writing, when I see your name on something I never know what to expect. One thing you are NOT is predictable. :) Sandra

I love the originality of the image you've now managed to stick in my head! Water balloons busting and bursting and leaving splotches of bright color all over the damn place!

The word sooth: meaning truth or fact, whereas soothe means to calm and reassure. I'm thinking you meant soothe.

Your formatting takes me back to the seventies - not sure why that is. I didn't even write poetry in the 70's, but there is something about your style that means 'freedom' to me. What goes on inside my head is surprisingly chaotic and untethered, too. I imagine it looks like a paper shredder's bin in there.

Oh yeah. sooth sayer. my bad. fixed. I did mean soothe. I think I did pick up the style in the seventies now that you mention it and have always had it ever since. Yep chaotic. I was shocked that I wrote a sonnet or anything formal. hahaha. This is more of a natural form for me. no form!! mikey

yep, free form, free style and free verse all work for me, too.

This is such an original and unique concept. Not sure which made me giggle more, lifting off the top of your head, or the vivid image of a lawnmower mowing a field of water balloons. Marvelous work with this one, I just love it.

Again, it's the age-old poetic wrestle- truth vs. Truth adorned or shaded with art, the wearing of the mask. I love lifting off the top of your head, bold scream- just friggin' look. Of course, all one might see is the waterballoons, the latest image/metaphor...that is the freaking truth. Or maybe isn't. But at least you made them look.

Yeah. I will settle for that. Making them look. A couple folk want to send out men in white suits. I am thinking lost prom dates from the 70s. I shall direct them to the center of the desert. mikey

They're coming to take you away! Haha. Michael my goodness where did this idea come from? I would be a bit leary to look in your mind. LOL Hon, just don't use an electric lawnmower, we'd hate to lose you. xxx Nancy
