Well done in introducing a new form A twelve line exhortation! It is quite a simple form really once you read it with increasing and decreasing syllables.I liked, 'where strength may lack, support her back.' Hope she is going from strength to strength.

I really enjoyed this poem and the message of want and hope. I don't think I had ever seen a poem like this but I liked the exhortation message it presented so well.

Continued best regards for as much healing and comfort as possible for your love.

Great stuff. Your own seal on this one. That is what I like to see.
I smiled all the way through.
Even without an explanation of the structure, it felt right. Mo forced rhyming or any other forced thing.

Well done,

Rgstar

This work has reached the exceptional level

So, soon she may again cavort
On healthy legs,
This husband begs. ... such beautiful, passionate devotion alone, demands an entire galaxy of stars.

Hold Crutch! Great "bread" for the poetry sandwich.

A very cleverly wrought form - I salute you sir!

p.s. She's been in my daily prayers - as have you, the caregiver. So delighted to know she's making progress.

xxx :)

That doesn't seem so long. It's half the time of a broken bone. It'll speed by y'all. Good lyrical flow of rhythm and rhymes. Good visual imagery. Excellent work.

Hi, Treischel,
This is excellent poetry. Although there are some really complicated structural requirements which you as a master craftsman would understand the usefulness of all I can really evaluate is the rhyme and the flow which are both excellent. Although the language is pretty pedestrian feelings you have for your wife shine through. My best wishes to her for a speedy recovery.

A well-penned get-well message;
Support is not only gained from crutches, but also the great love shared between two individuals;
"Hold Crutch!"--a bit of humor to aid an ailing lady.

Dear Tom,
Even in crutches her healing is well under way. I was in a wheel chair for what seemed like forever....but healing is always there under the cover of any tools she needs to use.

Great little poem that made me smile as well.
Keep healing hugs & smiles....laughter was a great tool I used:)
Thanks for sharing this well penned post.
