Good that she's home! I misread one line as hubby hoovering! I bet you're doing that too. I love your upbeat end limerick. Together through it all! That's the spirit.

What a clever style -(the San Limerick) to tell
of your wife's recovery from surgery.
The short 5 line stanzas allow short poits to
be highlighted per stanza.
The love and support you share as a couple is
positive and heart-warming.

YAY! That's great news. This poem was interesting. I've never seen it. I love it. So fun to read. Flows great. Has great rhythm and you almost have dialogue here if that makes sense. Like you're speaking to the reader. Great job and WELL WISHES for a speedy recovery. :)

Your poem is great, it takes a lot of TLC from the one doing all the running while the other's recovering. But, I'm sure you realize that she'd do it for you, if she hasn't at some time or another already, LOL...
