this is an interesting poem and well formatted to suit the Whitney poem guidelines.
Bonzai are such fascinating plants and do have an inert appeal.
Thoughtful word choices combine to capture the essence of a bonsai.

That is the largest bonzai that I have ever seen. It must be old. Beautiful. You captured it nicely in this poem. Good form. Nice work. Great!

Hi, Treischel,
This is an excellent poem meeting the requirements of the whitney form with good flow, some rhyme and good figurative language. The imagery is beautiful.

A well-penned Whitney expressing the beauty of the Bonzai tree;
Nice alliteration in "pretty pose";
Indeed, a unique growth in Japanese gardens.

Comment from Dean Kuch
My mother has had one of these wonderful little trees for as long as I can remember. I believe my dad got it for her when I was about sixteen or seventeen years old, and she still has it, to this very day. It's a testament to small things being very resilient, she and I always used to quip. Mom is 4'10" tall...
Nicely done, Mr. 'T'...

Dear Tom,
Fabulous picture you took - I am often fascinated with Bonzai trees, often so perfect in form - their start beauty powerful. Great job with this whitney, your word choices are powerful and create a sense intense awe as I read.
Excellent poem my friend.
Thanks for sharing it.

I like Bonsai trees too, they do look like in your photo. And then this well written Whitney. Did I infect you? Thanks for sharing this lovely poem.
