Nice. I found very strong feelings of faith in this works, wishing for an innocent to follow the same course in their living experience. A touching desire of the most highest values in my gave viewpoint.

This is heartbreaking. Its so hard to loose anyone let alone a small child or infant. I lost one while being pregnant back in 2005 and that was hard enough but to actually have that baby and get to build that bond no matter the length of time and then have that taken away from you is just wrong. Life isn't fair but it does go on and by holding on to the memories is what keeps them alive.

Thank you so much for taking a dome of your time to read over and reflect on my poem.
Like to give you my thoughts on your question
and say that memories can be fun but holding unto the past is not going to bring you forward.
reply by Tedeah Palmer on 26-Sep-2023
You're welcome and there was no question. I may be wrong but to me there is a big difference between holding onto memories to keep someone alive and dwelling on the past to not be able to look to the future of going forward. Over all I guess it would really depend on the situation and circumstances.

I'm sorry I'm so late in reading this beautiful prayer.
We lost a granddaughter when she was 1 1/2 hours old. Born at only 22 weeks, she was a fighter to stay here that long. The evening of her birth and death, I was ranting at God.
"You didn't even let her see one sunset!" I blubbered as I stared into the pinks and purples of that twilight.
And, as if in an audible voice, God answered. "She's seeing it," He assured me. "She has a lot better view than you do. And she's wondering why you have to stay there for so long instead of joining Me here."
God has such a great way of putting me in my place when I'm whining. And I'm glad I questioned Him. It was a new insight that I'd never considered.
My prayers are for your friend. I don't know her heartbreak, but watched my son and daughter-in-law during theirs, and dealt with my own in that situation.
Thank you for sharing this.
Blessings to you, yours and your friend,
Deb

Dear Deb, Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and the beautiful way the Lord spoke to you. That would make a lovely poem! What you shared is such a confirmation of these precious little babies being with their Father, in His arms and waiting for your arrival--and not just her parents but all her family! In Rev. 21:4 it says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." There will be crying but He shall wipe away the tears--personally! Then, there will be no more crying ever again. You have a wonderful future to look forward to! God bless you and your family! Love, Gudbjorg

I believe all those who love Jesus will have such a wonderful surprise when we get to Heaven. We cannot begin to imagine what awaits. Those little sweethearts will honestly overshadowed by His glory. Not that we won't know and love and appreciate the reunion but, imagine, standing face-to-face with our Creator Lord!
a favor, if you odn't mind... I posted a poem/song a week or so ago called 'Moved'. If you have a few, would you zip over to my portfolio and give it a listen? I'd like your opinion. My little sis called this morning with a third verse, so what's here isnn't quite complete, but God just dropped this song in my lap. He's pretty cool that way. :)

This is such a wonderful tribute to a new life. All kids should come into life with somebody feeling this warmth pride and joy.

This line really caught my eye:
This tiny babe now unites you anew,

Nicely done.

Dear Regina, Thank you for such a beautiful, uplifting review. I think that, when she gets to Heaven and meets the Lord, He will be holding her little bundle of love in His arms, having taken the best possible care of her until mommy's arrival. I hope you have a wonderful Easter with your loved ones and our King of kings, alive and risen!

Hello, it's always so sad when a young mother is having to let go of a baby that she had given birth to you shortly before. She uses the same poem, but I enjoyed it. Patricia.

I really appreciate your review and your understanding. However, as a result, the mother's faith was greatly increased, as she found the Lord to be very real at that time--and when she meets Him, He will be holding her baby in His arms.

I agree, it is very sad but God sometimes gets His greatest victories out of sorrows. She knows that, when she meets Jesus, He will be holding her baby in His arms and the comfort she received from Him at the time of the death increased her faith and deepened her relationship with Him.
