I am glad you created another Exhortation--I really like the form and enjoyed created my interpretation. I am pleased that you too joined in the celebration of the royal birth. I think the world craves positive news! I enjoyed your rhymes and alliteration, plus the way you wove in the Prince's name. More cheers from Colorado- Joan

The colors are an eye soar. But that is a wonderful poem to commemorate the royal couple. Good flow of rhythm and rhymes. Excellent work.

Another of your adventurous forms. Greatly enjoyed and the subject so
timely. Good beat in rhythm and rhyme. Well written and a joy to read. Smiles, Robin :)

Thank you Robin, thought I'd spread the word - if you haven't heard a thousand times already.

Let all of London's church bells ring,
Colonies raise your voice and sing,
To the newest George, a future king ....
:) :)

Comment from Preston McWhorter
Excellent poem. So you have joined the ranks of the ROYA'L
groupies A supposed REPUBLICAN . Off with their heads!
Seeing as how George III screwed up so badly I would not think that George was very auspicious name.
Just spoofing you. My guru is a king.

Thank you Preston. Just reporting the news. Thought I'd give the Brits equal share, since I wrote so much about the 4th of July. Same thoughts I had about the name.

A well-penned dedication as a new babe blesses the earth as he fills the world with joy;
Both writing and birth parallel the story of the arrival of the Christ child.
Good audio imagery--I so like "church bells ring!".
They have named him George Alexander--I would have preferred Alexander George myself!

A very good celebratory poem. The poem flows well. When news come out of England, that is the way it normally is. I enjoyed reading this.

Another good one here, Mr. 'T', proclaiming the birth of the future King of England. King George the, what, seventeenth? Well, maybe not THAT high, but it's up there...
Good work!
As regal Prince and Princess [Planed] Planned---->Planed, as in airplane? Or, planned, as in, "he planned the whole thing?"

Yes, it is great news and well written about the new babe. We have all been waiting for this guy and he finally showed. Such excitement for the young couple and the Queen too.
Great poem
