What a wonderful piece of puzzle of a vintage car and the fact that the wife helped do the main parts of the pieces together. A shared joy spent with hours of togetherness, and feeling contented after the great masterpiece is completed. This is the second poem on puzzles I have read - both are nice.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful write and stitching all of life' pieces we find in life as well.
Cheerio, Ritchie.

    Thank you Ritchie. I love doing Puzzles. This won't go back in the box, I will frame it and hang it on the wall.

H TOM, ANOTHER GLORIOUS POEM, CONGRATULATIONS, I SEEYOU HAVE WRITTEN A FEW OTHERS AS WELL BUT MY EYES, TO BE OPERATED IN A FEW DAYS, HAVE MORE READING DIFFICULTY, SO I WILL REVIEW THEM WHEN MY VISION IS RESTORED, WITH GOD'S BLESSING.

    Thank you John, one is a Triolet, so you won't lime it. Good luck with the operation.

Hi,
This an excellent poem with excellent rhyme, meter, and imagery, It flows well. I could almost feel the poet's elation at completing the puzzle.

Well done on the puzzle, my friend. I stopped doing puzzles because ... well, I just didn't have the patience to try all those freaking pieces!

Great! So many subtleties in this wonderful poem. The picture and words so aptly represent the struggles of finding "all the pieces" to put together that one beautiful finished piece. But, isn't that what we do with life? And who admires it most but one who paatiently waited and worked with you all the while.

Beautiful!!

Well now that winter is finally over and the puzzles go back into the box until next year. ( I must have twenty in the closet), We have them on a table in the family room for about a week and take turns working them. When the children and I lived on Harford Road we always had a puzzle going. Great verse and a great picture. Smiles. Robin :)

    Thank you Robin. My grandson helped me a lot one this one. He loves cars. I'm going to identify for him those sections he worked on and frame it to Hang in his room. I'm sure he'll show all his friends when they come over to his house. It took about six weeks to put together. He helped me puck it out at the store. He bugged his mom every Saturday to come over and work on it with me. He's 8 years old.

Good alliteration to begin a writing, as life's challenges very much parallel the intricacy of puzzle pieces;
Well-penned metaphor of life imitating art.
This is an amazing puzzle--a very eye-catching photo!

I know the feeling, Treischel, it is wonderful to finish it. But, if one piece is missing, how let down we feel. It is a bit like life isn't it. If there is something missing, we never feel complete. I loved your last stanza, what a lovely lady she must be! I really enjoyed your poem, a lovely read. xsx Sandra

This was a very entertaining poem, written well using rhymed quatrain verses, excellent mono rhyming in the closing tercet..I think you lost the rhyme in the third stanza, but that's something you could easily fix..I enjoyed this poem, as I have a large map of the world on a table in the basement of my home, when I get a chance I go down to put another piece or so...Thanks you for sharing this with us,
Warmly,
Victoria
