True love is the axle that the world spins on; without it, we would not have the six billion people that populate our Earth. But aside from that, there is nothing that compares to the bliss experienced between two lovers. I wonder if there will ever be an artist that can portray "bliss."

Hemingway-seque in its brevity and sparse sentences. It's hard to get a story arc laid out in 55 words, but by using the seasons as a backdrop, you allow the reader to fill in some of the progression. The last sentence is classic.

Hi, Mark. This post is over four years old. LOL...My new posts are in my portfolio under the book. Falling up The Stairs. the last chapter i posted (last week) is titled "Return to State Street" I have no idea why it isn't showing as my newest post. I think it is because it is a revived post. I have been posting new chapters every week for a year. LOL. thanks for trying though. Bob

Awww. Six stars for this one is such a surprise. It is so old...LOL. back when I wrote poetry and short stories. I still do occasionally , but prose/novels are my thing now for sure. This is very well written and not only met the required criteria, but also told a story about falling in love. From spring till autumn, from being single to being pronounced husband and wife. Great writing!

So much for Brad's resolve. He succumbed to love's hue. Love demands love's exploration. A cherished feeling, that of a confident heart. I too was certain about my devotion to bachelorhood. Sometimes love penetrates the emotion cocoon. Good for them both.
