It took me a while to see the irony in this poem, but I finally understood. What most people miss is that in order to learn you have to close your mouth and open your eyes and ears. Your style is unmistakable, so I am wondering if you are considering the senryu course that begins next month. I know you have had the introductory courses, but I don't think you have had the senryu course yet, have you? You do ironically illustrate the idea of how to learn that most people miss.

We do have great fun in that class. It starts the week of March 31. I would love to have you in a class again. You already have two classmates in that class.
(BTW, I am buying a color printer cartridge this weekend, so I can finish reviewing your paradelle.)

This is so true of many I know. One was a son of mine, whouldn't talk much, but knew where everything was in the house and heard everything people said. He is still like that at age 35, doesn't say much except when asked. Great story in a few words.
