This certainly hit home. And we have a thirteen year old german shepherd!
Cute and to the point. Where do you come up with these crazy forms of
poetry? Great picture shows the appreciation experienced by the dog!
Smiles. Robin :)

LOL. Maybe you should get some houseplants? LOL
Great job with the tic-tac-toe. These are so much fun. Great photo choice/ That huge toothy grin is almost scary. LOL

Yes, Sir T, I do. I may have exaggerated a bit.
Comment from BeasPeas
So funny. Love the photo. Is that your dog? One of mine looks like that (her teeth) when she's 'smiling.' Structurally the layout is unique and the words you chose so appropriate to how they have us marching to their drum. But would we do without them? I think not!

Thanks BeasPeas. No just a picture off the Internet, but yes, they can be a pain. Still you got to love them.

Indeed a dogs life within any house hold demands much of our time.
Funny poem, interesting to see this tic-tac-toe poetry.
Another example of your versatility within the realms of the poet spectrum.
Kindest regards Trimple

I say it's doggone good! A wonderfully humorous look at the chore of caring for man's best friend. Totally clever scheme and the the picture of the grinning doag just scresms: Man I am having so much fun!

Thanks Nottoway. That dog picture is a gem.
Comment from Sandra Stoner-Mitchell
That is so funny, and I suspect there are many readers out there who can sympathise and relate to your poem. Mine is with a cat, and she is just as demanding. We had a cat because they were apparently a lot easier to keep, never believe what you are told by friends!! xsx Sandra

LOL. Well done, what a great poem that expresses the frustration we all have felt over a dog. Again, another form I have not ever heard of.
Blessings, JO

Sounds like my day. LOL
What more can I say except that this captures the essence of being owned by a dog. Cute puppy turns tyrant, demanding toy tussle and ball toss. Dang where's MY 'cookie.'
Good use of repetition: 'Walk the dog.'

Thank you so much barking dog!

This is true for all of us who own dogs. Walking the dog is repetitious. I like the tic tac toe format, it fits with the demands of the dog.
