The message is clear and to the point. The rhyming is good. This piece flows well as the harmony is where it needs to be. My attention is captured from the photo and held by the words. Good job.

Nice poem warning people of the dangers gnomes bring.
Just one editing suggestion.
"I'm very sorry, Sir," I said (titles with names, Sir John, should be capitalized, without names, they should not, "Sorry, sir."

Oops, I should know better than that! Thanks for giving it a six anyway. I'm surprised at the number of people who think this has a moral or a warning. Perhaps one snuck in there somehow. I was just having fun with it. Thanks again for all the lovely stars.

LOL! And I can probably say this about a few people... Never, ever take 'em home. Most delightful and enjoyable poem, with a life lesson thrown in.
Very nicely done.

This one wasn't intended to have a moral, but I guess it kind of does. There are a few people I wouldn't want to take home. Thanks for the great review.

This is a fun, well written story in a poem. This poem on the light side was a fun read and was so very well presented. Thank you for a fun read

There is nothing in this charming poem that needs to be changed.

It is a story in rhyme, and best of all it has a moral. It it fun to read, and moves along well.

Thanks for sharing.

just set the little bugger up as a spokesgnome for Travelocity. good light-hearted story. the moral? it doesn't always pay to be a good Samaritan.

You have effectively shared a story in a poem.
This is a well crafted entertaining tale.
Very appropriate to read to a child.
The lead character is this story poem,
I would rather refer to as an imp,
only because I don't want to gnome.
I enjoyed this verse.

Rich.

Glad you enjoyed it. I used gnome because it was easier to rhyme than imp or leprechaun. Thanks for the great review.

I believe you didn't get my joke!
Gnome in place of know 'em.
    You are very welcome!
    Rich.

I got know 'em. I thought you still wanted me to turn him into an imp. Guess I didn't get enough sleep and I'm a little thick today.

I could use some sleep myself.
    Thanks for the reply.
