She is a beautiful child. Here is a poem I share with grandparents I hope you like it.

Across The Room

When you look across the room,
And see your grand children smile,
Why not stop everything,
Just to play with them a while?
For all too soon the years,
May take them to a distant place,
And many will be the days,
You'll long to see their face.
Don't let those precious years,
Slip by until they're grown,
To take some time to cherish them,
And make your love well known.
For as you strive to love them,
The way God wants you to,
You'll build such precious memories,
That they'll show their love to you.

Talk about excitement. Well, she is a beautiful little baby. It's good to be proud. Your poem is a lovely way to commemorate her birth. Nice rhymes. Forgive me for running out of 6-stars. Excellent poem.

Yes, first things first. Congrats on the arrival of this cherub into your family in particular and the world at large.
May she be a shining light in this awesomely dark world.
Thanks for the enlightenment on your poem. It really struck a chord. Very well written sans any input from my amateurish pen.
God bless.

Aww, I am getting teary-eyed reading this. My fourth child was my girl. The first three were my sons. Truly I had expected the fourth to be a boy again, completely fine with it, as boys are great. So complete shock when told it was a girl.

Just such a beautiful poem for and about her. You need to find quality paper and a frame and send this to her for the bedroom wall.

How beautiful, JO

Congratulations, Treischel! What a beautiful little girl. I can see this little one will never need someone to love her to bits, or to twist around her finger! LOL, enjoy her! xsx Sandra
