Wow. If I had 7 stars, I would give it you. What an incredible poem (and it's your first attempt).
It's simply beautiful.
A rhyming pantoum where it all makes sense together--that's a task. Mine don't rhyme. I think that would take more planning, no?
I really love the capitalization throughout.

I enjoyed the picture of your daughter and grandson. Happy belated birthday for him, and many more ahead. I read a couple of pantoums, on this side, but I still have to write one. Yours is very endearing. One can almost feel your grandfather-ly pride, exuding out of the computer screen. The pantoum format helps underline that.

What a lovely tribute for your daughter and grandson. That must have been a truly happy moment for you and your family. The poem flows smoothly and the repetition makes it sound lyrical, like a song.

Good job on your pantoum poem of childbirth and capturing the feelings of the new mother. I remember them well.
"labor-worn mother" Oh yes...
I like the repeating lines, and the pantoum is a form I have written a few poems, as well.

Lovely and very fitting poem, Treischel. You have merged childbirth through the ages meshing with it the dream fulfilled of a Redeemer.

You do a magnificient job of recreating a mother's experience and thoughts of holding a newborn. It is truly a magical experience and a time when love comes from the heart. T2

The picture of the mother and the baby boy is so charming. The stress on the mother's facfe can be seen and so is the hidden smile. The baby so peaceful and calm. Any woman can related to this having endure the greatest pain on earth. She survived the ordeal and why must childbirth be so painful. Did Mary felt the same as other woman? The smile beguiles the pain and it is worth the effort as in be fertile and fruitful.. Needless to say, this is a part of life that has so much significance. Bravo on the poem. Rich and consist of many flavors of emotions and feeling. Cheers.

It is beautiful Pantoum! I don't think anything can compare with the magic a new born babe can bring to a family. How proud you must have felt looking down at your grandson when you took this photograph, and what a wonderful poem you have written for him to read when he is old enough to understand. Well done for writing this lovely Pantoum it was a pleasure to read. xsx Sandra

The birth of a new born is one of God's miracles. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.
