Yes the glare add the ray of light to the picture. It sounds that you really did enjoy the birth of your daughter. Your poem is full of really great words of love and gentleness one would expect from the moth of a new parent. Each birth a parent becomes new again with new plans for their new addition. Nothing can take that away for any parent. Enjoyed reading your poem.
