Beautiful! What a lovely poem. I look outside and see all you wrote about. I can feel the words, see the colors and feel happy. When winters grip is bogging us down, I will have this poem to remind me there are warmer times ahead. I'm going to try to save this for future reading. This has to be on of my favorites so far.

Well my friend when reading this I was waiting to come to the bit you didn't like about spring I read through the beautiful images and then reached time for your tax return lol well done my friend I enjoyed regards Jill

I like this! Flows nicely with rich imagery, good rhythm and rhyme. You set the stage with all the expected images of Spring only to spring the unexpected--a little wit about tax returns. Well done.

Oh it has been said that nothing is certain except death and taxes. But, putting that aside your poem had a marvelous cadence and your rhyme scheme was well chosen.
