Excellent job my friend, a great read of a story within a poem. Nice flow and excellent rhyming. Didn't see any errors. Thanks for sharing such a delightful read and I loved the ending; the stranger finding Kate.

Beautiful poem it was like one of those western movies my mother always loves to watch, your poem was well written and enjoyable to read.

    I knew you would like it. It is just your cup of tea. Jim and I loved to read Westerns back in the 80's. Louis LaAmour
    was our favorite and I had a collection of his books.
    Cannagar was one. He found Tumbleweeds with notes but the story was different. Thanks for the review Dinah. Nancy

I love this poem and am sorry I don't have a six for you. You tell a lovely story about the stranger and his search for Kate. Your a/b a/b rhyming is strong and the use of expressive words makes this tale interesting and entertaining. Well done....blessings, chey

    Well, that really doesn't matter. I just want people to like my poetry. It is strange to the staunch poets. I have my own style and I don't even know the meter until after the first stanza. I just write whats in my head.Thank you so much for the praise and the review! Nancy xxxxxxx

I saw no need for change here, Nancy. I don't know how you can keep coming up with all these different topics, but you do, and I keep reading them, always amazed by your talent and ability to keep coming up with something fresh and different!~

What a nice story in a poem or story poem, not sure of exact poetry type represented here. Your poem is smooth and fluid at least to my ear and the rhymes do not sound forces; they actually contribute to the poem's pace. Your poem conjured up two images in my head as I read: a poem one of the former Spanish student's wrote about a lonely cowboy riding off into the sunset alone with his broken heart and the a song by America that has a line: a horse with no name... Don't ask; it's getting late and I'm working shift work. Enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing.

Well, you can change 'massage' into message ;) I'll leave the rest up to the meter readers and the more learned. I, however like the content.

Makes me think of the missing people out there, that loved ones wonder for years, just what happened. How much harder it was back then when people disappeared. Enjoyed.

    It was worse then we could ever imagine. For your people as well. I searched my famillies history and learned a lot about the hardships and heartbreak. My poem about Oregon was only one of them. Thanks for the review BC! Nancy

Deeeeeelightful. What a great write... I was hooked in the first stanza. What would happen???? What would happen???? And the lived happily ever after, and the dog didn't die. What could be better. And as always a perfect write Thanks Jax
