I was suprised not to see the winning ribbon on this one, Bill. That was incredible. All in the letter A. What a hard one to choose, yet you did a fabulous job with it. Very well done!! :)) Sandra xx

There were many times I thought a mutual admiration society controlled placement. It was over a year on site before I got any recognition. It was likely my lack of promotion.

Good job following the rules of the contest. I enjoyed your creative retelling of Adam and Eve. However, my understanding of alliteration is in the same sound at the beginning of each word, not just the same letter. The "a" is difficult because there are at least three different sounds in your poem: short a (Adam), ah/aw (all/authors), and long a (alienation). Just my thoughts. Good luck.

You did nicely with that Biblical content. You summarized it well and your punctuation helped to make the words flow well. Good job and good luck with the contest.

For twelve words, you did a fantastic job covering a whole chapter of Genesis. And every word starts with A!! However, I have some arguments to make: (1) Eve wasn't apologetic, she blamed the snake as soon as God questioned her, and (2) it wasn't until Adam took the apple from Eve and ate it that the world was cursed. Besides that, it's a nice write!

I think Eve was quite sorry actually. It just wasn't written down by the woman bashers of the day. Am I right or am I right?

I'm sure they were both remorseful when all was said and done. I wouldn't reduce everyone to woman bashers, but that's a debate better left for some other forum.

Very nice alliteration here. And, the picture that you picked to go along with the verses is perfect. Eve will never live this down. Nice work.
