Even before reading who the author was, I felt from the title that this was your poem! The photo, and the poem are both wonderful. I can feel the burst of the berry and the gratefulness for all things in the simple act of eating a berry.

I think you borrowed the meter and some of the message from
the hymn. I like that you mention eating just one berry, as if offering the rest for others to partake in. Sharing the bounty. Very in keeping with your message.
You have a wonderful knack, Brooke, for saying big things with little berries.
