I am at heart. I believe that we are are over-governed. Almost every member of congress is a muti-millionaire for what is 'legal' inside trading by buying up properties as infrastructure is legislated. But truthfully I am not an American citizen and many people do not appreciate my comments or observations.

At heart is what counts. And world over, I think most of us, if given the chance would fall under such a political thread/leaning.

Exceptional write, its hard to keep attention with long stories but you have accomplished that and more.I agree with most of what you write.I too think the government should have very limited control of our personnel lives.they are supposed to be working for us, not judging us.Great write and read.God bless you-Michael.

I find so much of what you say to be thoughts equal to mine. My family is close until we talk "the party" neither side will accept any good about the other party. I will not commit so I am like a Commie or something. I found your entry well writen and informative.

Thanks. I don't think anyone today should draw a line in the sand. We need everyone's well-informed thought on healing and recovery for out country. This is a time of serious action reather than just ideology and choosing the correct person for the job is more important that party affilliation. Sorry for your family debates.

You will probably get a lot of different reactions to your entry, but at least you had the guts to throw this at them. On the other hand, I think that the majority of the American public is sick of the fat cats running this country into the ground, and are ready to return to the simple values of the people who built this country.

It is surprising that I didn't receive any negative responses. Now prhaps in the many reads that didn't respond there were a lot of die-hard main stream supporters who chose to ignore the essay. My point was never to bring anarchy and a sudden revolution to the country, but rather to think below the glow of the two main parties and think about some core values and beliefs. These I expressed and I thank you for your time, response and review.

This is exceptional. I haven't read the reviews for this but will have to take a look. I am sure you have many supporters out there that agree with you completely. You have such a marvelous gift for presenting an argument. I learned more in this essay than a semester of political science. Great work and a terrific entry. I wish you all the best.

People are not going to want to give up anything, especially the handouts from the gov., and if the gov. can't do it because they have lost their supreme power and the taxpayer's deep pockets, woe to us, because there will be riots and worse. I looked at the sentence again. the rest of the essay is in past tense and don't think changing the word to posture would work, but I appreciate you drawing attention to it and hope if you read any future postings of mine that youu will not hesitate to point out areas for me o reread. ingrid

This articles is scattered throughout with viable examples, historic references and some little known facts. No trivial philosophizing or repetitive preaching. It is a great article; whether one agrees or disagrees, it is an eye opener.

While not willing or feeling the need to argue some of the points made, I give this a solid five for writing and framing the arguments well. Some of the arguments are logically sound while others are just sound bites. In any event the article was well written and the points logically presented.For one little jab, logic does not always parallel truth, It has been logically proved that a bumble bee cannot fly.
I do not believe that a bumble bee can fly even when I see one doing it.
