Susan, This was a great story. It kept my interest from beginning to the end. The dialog was amazing. You have a talent for slipping into another world. I just write non-fiction, because that's what I know. I could never write fiction. That takes a special talent. Nice job. Carole

Good piece, well done, well paced and yet a sad ending. That, of course, is where a lot of your work goes.
A bit much on the dialect for my taste, but your had to write your story your way.

'A Dollar For Dooley' is a well written story. Dobb's dialog sounds so real that it vividly portrays the old man. Dooley, too, has personality in his actions.
