Alex... When I checked my messages this morning, I saw where you had posted something new and I came to read another of your poems written with the Scottish brogue that I love so much. You can imagine how surprised, humbled and delighted I was to see that you had written a poem about me! I couldn't believe it. I've never been the subject of anyone's poetry before. As you said in your poem, It is amazing, the wonderful people you meet on FanStory and you are a fine example of this. Everyone has been so nice in reviewing my two songs I have posted. Sometimes it brings tears to my eyes when I read what they say... as you have this morning. I very seldom find myself speechless, but I really can't express how much the words you've written mean to me.. and the wonderful reviews my other friends have given on my work. I love it here on FanStory and I thank you so much Alex for the wonderful poem and to all who have made me feel so welcome here on FanStory. You have just made my day! (hugs xx)

This is an excellent poem . The rhyme and rhythm are excellent and the whole poem flows beautifully. I enjoyed reading it, as always your work is fantastic :-)

Great poem Alex. I love Anita's work, and she has a grounded and level head in other arenas too. Your poem is very honorable and well written. I love how you lift others up in your poems Alex, tells a lot about the man,behind the brogue.

As always, good rhyming couplets and steady cadence.
I like how you work the types of poems people write into your cadence and rhymes.
I also have very much enjoyed Nita's songs - what a gorgeous voice when she sings her work :-)

Although not written in your humor this poem is no less in excellence than the rest of your poems.

What a sweet poem! I love the way you speak! You have such great inflection and warm tone qualities!! Your poem is wonderfully well said. As a new member I feel the same way about this site and I feel lucky to have found it !I will have to listen to to Sweet Anita Sing! I am new to this site and am a musician too! I am a country girl too, but have been living in a big city for about a month now...I Miss the solitude and silence... I have only put a few things up on my profile .. I do have one song.. I would be honored if you would take a look and maybe a listen! Either way, I enjoyed the experience of listening to your poem.. Thank you very much!

I love the way you put a piece of your soul into your work..
Lovely imagery as well..
Some may complain that they just don't understand.. Though I find it to be a bit silly since your so kind to read aloud and the awesome note defining the words.. You just keep doing what you do your work would';t be the same without it..
