I was so pleased to read this report and to catch with with you and your status with treatment. My heart goes out to you for the continuing pain, discomfort and emotional anguish that accompanies the treatment and living with the disease. I continue to offer up prayers for you and hope one day soon you'll have that respite, time out, that you so badly need. And it is my prayer the respite will be permanent.
Continue to listen to your body, rest when it tells you to rest, and eat healthy foods to the extent you can. Always work to keep your weight up. And, as always, keep the silver lining in view.
You're most brave to post this and share with your FS friends. I know it is both cathartic and offers a chance for those who care about you to respond.

You absolutely have my prayers on this one. I too have had my trials with chemo (interferon) for Hep-c. Eleven years ago I received a liver transplant. Everyone thought I was going to die, but I'm still here. I never gave up on hope, nor should you! I believe that you will do well. Love and Prayers.

Your doctor sounds a bit like the pulmonologist who
was working on my case last summer when I had acute
pancreatitis. He all but told me I was not going to
recover; then, the day I did get out of ICU, he came
by my room and asked me if I thought I was getting
better. I told him, "No, I know I'm getting better."
Some doctors just have no bedside manner at all. I'm
glad you are doing better and will continue to pray
for you.

it takes courage to fight cancer and you have had a lots to deal with. Thanks for sharing your journey and enlightening others in regard to treatment.A close friend of mine had pancreatic and bowel cancer and swelling on his brain but five years later is in remission.He too endured much pain.I am so happy to see him pain free and well again.
