I finally made it to Montana after flight delays, and they really do say, "You betcha!" We are hoping the weather gets better tomorrow.
I did not realize that you were also coping with a torn tendon--you are a trooper and a half! Nor, did I know the other meaning of a "sinus"--I'm sorry you could teach me from personal experience. Your "nude bathing" bit is choice. Again, best wishes in this battle--your attitude and strong spirit will keep bolstering you. Hugs- Joan

I am in the healing phase now, healing from being chopped to pieces, injected with poison, and then set on fire. I go to my oncologist on Thursday. I hope to get a clean bill of health.

If I meet a Montana medicine man, I'll have them include you in their chant, and I will be thinking very good thoughts! Hugs- Joan

My ex-husband is going through all of this chemo torture right now for non-hodgkiins lymphoma. You are all who face the cancer fight, are so incredibly brave. God Bless you and bring you peace. He drinks his wine every night and sleeps. Barbara

Hello Barbara,
This is a very interesting story on your experience going through such a hardship time in your life. It is brave of you to have the courage to write and share this with us.
We have many friends who have gone through chemo treatments and most of them have been successful. One waited too late and as the result, chemo did not help. The others have beaten the struggle and won with determination and prayers.
I sincerely hope for the best for you and will remember you in my prayers today for brighter tomorrows.

What a courageous and moving account you have written here. It was interesting, easy to follow, well-organized, sad to read, but encouraging as well. I saw no errors of any kind and was capivated by the inclusion of the many details that made the whole thing so close and personal. Well done, and of course you are at the center of our prayers. I'm anxiously awaiting the next update. My very best to you, and sincere wishes for a complete recovery.

Hey, Barbara, I'm with you on the nude sunbathing, that's for sure. I would have laughed also. Sounds like you are hanging in there best you can. Thanks for the update and keep writing to keep your spirits up, and us informed.

First of all, may I say how much I wish you well and how well your courage shines through your writing. Your story will be one a lot can relate to. Cancer is so prevalent, touches so many lives and families, mine included. I'd like to tell you that cancer can be beaten. My Aunt had both breasts removed and lived to enjoy many more years after her ordeal. I sincerely hope you get over this dreadful disease soon and enjoy many more happy years with your family.

After radiation, I take something for 5 years. I haven't got that far yet. Thank you for your kind review.

You are a trooper, Barbara, and it just seems complications come with the treatments. The side effects are sometimes worse than the diseases. You will be a survivor, not a doubt in my mind. You also make me feel very fortunate that I have had my turn for the better and have not had to have any chemo or radiation at this point, the one year mark and just aromasin and zometa. I have a young friend who just got through it all and double reconstruction who is doing fantastic. So know it is worth it and bravo that you have continued to work. Not sure I could have done that with all the surgeries and complications. You are amazing and thanks for keeping us updated. God bless. Joycexx
