I loved this one, very interesting author notes about the skystone. Turquoise is one of my favorite semiprecious stone. I have a few pieces I love to wear. The rhyme is great and each line is easy to read and flow nicely to the nest. Anne 1204

they ran-in to some really nasty hillbillies! The best hillbillies I've known are: "The...Beverly Hillbillies". Striking Black Gold!

I think it is fascinating that you never needed to use the word "turquoise" in the body of your poem because of all of your other descriptions and fine storytelling. Thank you for sharing this Native American tale in rhyming couplets.
