You had me laughing here, this is a hilarious review. I love the OCD vampire in the Al-Quada group, so ridiculous.
This is a great piece of writing.

Hi Fayesh:)
I just received your rejection letter and it come as no surprise to me that you fall to recognize good fiction. Only last year you rejected my wonderful "Dead Zombies Don't Attract Vampires".

I submitted it to a wonderful vanity publisher, you may have heard of then, "Bloody Trail Vampire Press." He was so nice. He explained to me that I should self-publish my book because he would feel like he was stealing from me if they took part of the proceeds. He only charged me $10,000 to edit and print out the first 500 copies. They arrived last week and already I sold my first copy. In fact.Mom told me she has already started to read it and plans to buy copies for her other four children.

Now for some specific comments to help yo understand:

1. How in the Hell does a vampire end up in an Al-Qaeda stronghold? {Some might suggest that everyone in an Al-Qaeda stronghold is a bloodsucking vampire.)

2. For example, you have one scene in "Yeah Man." Do you mean Yemen (a country in the Middle East)?{Hay, it's fiction maybe "Yeah Man" is just afictional country. Give the poor writer a break he surely knows his fictional environment better than you.}

3. Don't you find it confining to have to write rejection letters in a padded cell while wearing a strait jacket?

You are no better than those stupid critics who get their thrills from killing the hopes of people who can write instead of criticize. You need to get a life and a real job.
Yours truly,

Great Big-Headed Writer

This is really good. I like the fact that there is a definite sense of humor interwoven thoughout, and not just the mean-spirited business going on. So many of the others I've looked at were simply offensive without being funny. You've managed to do both quite nicely. I especially liked the "Yeah Man" reference, which was a hoot. Well done.

Hi,

I laughed when I read this! I am sure there have been times when we all thought someone had to have been drinking to write what they did.....but we of course do not put that into the review. Great writing, very funny, holds the attention, and is just plain entertaining! Cheers

i love how the reviewer tells the writer not to drink while writing and then s/he says a drink is in order. LOL there used to be a writer here who wrote a story of reviewing and drinking. she said she lost more keyboards that way. LOL
made me smile and giggle.
good luck~
love,
barbara

Excellent, and loved the added detail about a vampire amongst Al-Qaeda and how someone might write that. Added a little extra than just the "you suck" type review.

Very well done.

This is sooo funny. I laughed my head off all the way through. I love your genuine attempt at making helpful suggestions that sadly would do nothing to improve the writing. Very nice job with this. I sincerely enjoyed it.

Good entry, fayesh. I particularly liked the "Yeah Man" line. I must admit to being somewhat tempted to write reviews which would have been similiar to this. I have to keep reminding myself that honesty is not always required. "Walk away" is now my motto. Good luck in the contest.
