You really nailed it! When I read poetry, especially lilting or rhyming poetry it seems to surround me with a rather tingling aura. As well, the collection of words that poets portray is usually so fine and eloquent. It seems we reach for an elegant style to send our message. I love it and agree with you that it catapults us into another world. Lovely poem; well done. Straight to the heart.

This is very good and I agree this should work well! It defines what poets GET from writing. It may be an avenue of escape for the mind, but I am so grateful to have it in my life and it has been there since I was a young child. ONE technical question on this and I may be wrong: Should keep in the second stanza be keeps? I read it both ways and both sound right, but keeps seems to sound correct more so. Just something you may want to check out if you are using it as an up-front for your site. I love the poem, the topic, the flow (matches the visual) and the overall piece. Great Job and Good Luck with your site!

Certainly some poets can arrange simple words that can move us to tears, laughter and anything in between. There is a rhythmic flow to this and I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Ronni I do appreciate that very much it means alot to me, I hope I will be able to repost a certificate on it again sometime, the last one expired yesterday sometime and it takes me awhile to build up enough member dollars to post again.
