I wish I had a six star to give as this great poem deserves. It is not only beautiful, it flows off the tongue with its marvelous rhyming scheme. Its words so true. Chosen accompanying art is gorgeous. Enjoyed!

Wow thanks a head of time for the generous 6 stars you would have gave me. lol. I especially like this one allot, it has sort of been my main poem for all my poetry for obvious reasons.
It was awhile back when I wrote this one, it has gotten many great reviews and made all time best. I have a good fair amount of poetry in my portfolio if you care to go through it. Allot of Romantic, Spiritual, Friendship, and here as of late some patriotic / Spiritual Poems. Still looking to write more of them for sure. Anyway have a look around and if you really like what you see you can always become a fan and get notices when I put out something new. Take care.

Keep writing poetry. This one did work very well. It says a lot and it's an enjoyable read as well. I hope that it does change hearts and I'm sure it will inspire more poetry.

Thank you Cindy very much appreciated for sure. I try and write as often as I can. Just got started on Fanstory after a long time of not being up here. Fortunately all of my previous work is still intact, so if you care to read any of it just delve into my portfolio and have a gander, love to hear what else you think. Poetry is a life changer for sure. It keeps me going back to the computer and back to the mail box, mailing out my manuscripts. Not giving up cuz one judge does not agree. Just keep writing. good poem

with very good exact and slant rhymes.
The poem reads quite well and goes to the heart of poetry.
Suggestions:
"It gives us new meaning, and new ways to see
What keep[s] our soul strong, and makes us so free"
to match 'gives' and 'makes'
The third stanza is a question beginning with 'Can"
so it should end in a question mark.
Otherwise, well done.
