This is so interesting and sad at the same time. You tell your story so well and it keeps the reader engrossed until the last line. It makes me want to go back and read what I have missed. Your dialogue is smooth and I am getting a good picture of what Richard is like.

This I found to be most excellent. Your presentation was especially attractive to be for the font size hehe. Okay, I admit I haven't the greatest eyesight but I do know what I just read I like. I can't complain, it was definitely creative.

Sounds like you were not the only one with issues in this marriage - while you had your own secret fears, he was planning and planning changes to a house that he never made whilst instead buying stereo equipment - that makes for a bad situation when both people are dealing with things they do not explain to the other. You depict this most convincingly.
