Awesome and a well deserved win Janilou. Congratulations and all the very best to you for 2009. I am back after a hectic period of weddings and hosting visiting families for the occasion and the holidays. Home was like a hotel! Great to be back on FS and the peace and quite even though having family together was fun.

What a wonderful overview of so many lives. You really touched my heart with this piece. Hope can still come out of misery in the bleakest times. The African verse just hit me hard, having to move on even though they might not make it. Simply stunning.

I love this. I hadn't heard this song by Jeremy Camp, but I will make the effort right away.
Hope is an absolute necessity in this life. Without it, despair rules and ruins. Only by faith in God and His Son can we make any sense of the suffering here.
