I can see how this was a contest winner. It tells the story of the day slowly winding down and the sun telling us it is time to sleep. The rainbow sings its lullaby and all is peaceful.

Meets all stricture. Line 2 is especially alluring. Line 3's use of 'whispers' completes a picturesque gem. Well done. Deserves a 6 but alas none was offered.

How lovely and serene this short and breif haiku. I love the imagery and the clever use of your words. Enjoyed the shor read.
