This is one of my first FS submissions and I actually had the print shop print it in a card. This was sort of my start in poetry and was thinking about a person that graced my life and created thoughts of love, when I heard a bell like sound and was dropped by walking into a street sign that someone bent over.

While Rasputin was hit over the head by a mad women with a shovel, this was my start with poetry. My first poem I posted her, got my pay cut by a third, but transplanted that poets heart that I needed.

I am so honored by this review! Hugs and great tea. Oh, talking about that tea isn't something that well done in Baltimore, but we have the McCormick factor that my Grandmother took me too and their tea was the greatest. While that location and teahouse, no longer exists, they still sell that tea and it does take me back.

Loved this review, Mike! Hell a man knows when he has been got and can only laugh.

This poem didn't come from lust struck, but sincere feeling. A woman that temperarily worked where I did, had this effect. I found my head in the clouds, but in reality it found a parking sign and right at the moment I thought of an imaginary kiss, a flash of light and a gong went off. A minute later, I though of hugging her and I almost got hit by a car. I considered it a miracle that I could love. It created my first post, the poem worked out fine but the relationship drifted on the wind like chaff to be seperated. So what happens, a great adventure and I got love struck again. I haven't been right since, but I I am so happy because of it. And the poetry is intense... I love sharing my experience.

Lynda, my advice is simply to find someone that enjoys being with you and accepts you the way your are. Lust, yeilds results and also has the problem of what do we do now. Making love is the icing on the cake, but it is the cake itself that sets it off. Work towards bieng best friends and then an obligation on two parts will be made.

I am glad that you appreciated this and got a laugh from it. It is also a pleasure to have you review this and comment. Thank you very much for the compliments, Hugs, Mike K

The adjectives you picked, as well as the colors, really enhanced the mood of your poem. I found it to be very creative and well-done.

There are no better words to describe a love sick person! This was entertaining to read :)

Unfortunate for love sick people to be oblivious, and how truly annoying they can get! Good work...

Is this true? This is wonderful and funny and very clever.
I have to say this put a big grin on my face. Especially
the knon-sense-ic-cle at the end!

Hi, Short but to the point. Good use of words. The red on black worked out very well and you covered the rules of an Acrostic. Ciao... :)))

In all honesty, it's an ok written poem. Nothing sensational, but it's not terrible either. Hell, it's not even badly written.
I love the acrostic and also the presentation colors.
I think this poem would be much better if there were more originality in it.

But its still a nice poem nonetheless.

Thank you for your reveiw. In all honesty, this is my first acrostic and I have only looked at two others. I liked the concept and tried my hand.
