What an interesting poem structure. Thank you for sharing an example with us. It's a moving poem, and I think you used the repeating line well in it. Even though there's no rhyme scheme, it feels like there's a rhythm to the poem, perhaps because each line has a similar number of feet.

Such a delightful and beautiful message. Love can be described in many ways, but not many would have the sincerity of this poem. Your words really do flow delightfully, and I'm sure there's a message similar to this coming from above.

Very heartfelt and full of emotion. This was well written and carries a lot of weight.
It's subtly hints at a passing but you don't quite know until the middle where it pops out

This is a very sad piece. I like the added impact of repeating the first stanza as the last. Powerful!
Very enjoyable, Jim. Keep up the most excellent work!

Jim,
This is a great poem. It is full of love and you can feel it oozing off the page. It is sad when a loved one dies and we are left behind. We know we will meet again in God's house when we all get there.
Well done
Cecilia

A beautiful and heartfelt poem Jim. The repeating line is haunting and dra a the reader into your world of loss.
I dread the day this becomes a reality of me as well.
Blessings

This is a nice pen about grief. I love the repeated line "I reach for a hand that's not there," it really moves the poem. Te descriptions you used are very well written. I enjoyed the read.
