Thanks for your notes. I agree with what the poem says. Legend can be complicated with black and white. Whatever happens, life is a choice. We chose to be black or white.
Thanks fir sharing

Many pleasures only give us temporary joy and can easily cause problems later. True joy as given by only by God can give us everlasting joy. Thank you for sharing your poem with us.

I think that the interpretation of white joy can be viewed many ways - connection to a creator, the birth of a child, love - excellent work on this short piece. Thanks for sharing. Later daze.

I tasted the dark and it almost ended me - but when I returned to the white joy of His eternal love, all was healed and made right again. I wish more people had your wisdom...fine presentation and I love the monkeys!!

Experience has taught me that, in order for one to live a life filled with moral decency, devoid of hate, anger, feelings of superiority, jealousy, etc. One must forever live alone and away from all worldly influence. To be exposed to the influence of the world in which we live, is to be infected with worldly imperfection, and therefore forced to fight against all of the negative influences that make life difficult to live as a pure individual.

This is a very interesting and well written 5-7-5 poem you have penned. You used very good descriptive words and very interesting imagery from the art work you chose. I can see where this is coming from today in our world which is so sad. Blessings, Teri

I like the concept of this poem. It's very thought-provoking.
The only thing I can recommend is: a piece of writing needs to be able stand on its own. I have read through a lot of the reviews on this, and even most people who gave it five and six stars needed your author notes to fully understand the meaning.
Imagine that you are submitting this poem without the option of including author notes. Is the poem you write going to make complete sense to the reader? In this case, probably not. Just something to think about as you continue with your writing. All the best.

Thank you, thanks a lot, I do appreciate your thoughts and explanation to accept your suggestion; I think, I am not incorrect, there are reviewers who misinterpret and write something beyond the concept, and there are wise reviewers who review least but share their experiences of their own or personal or not relevant to the work, or comments on unimportant matters and try to show their wisdom, or write something that no one understands and pose to prove them wise people, I am not proud but I write for your information, because I think it is relevant, I have already written more than 100,000 reviews, 99.99% of 100,000 reviews are positive and constructive reviews, though I do not like to teach authors or writers for I think, reviewing is re-viewing and not teaching, I may be wrong, for I think, none is perfect and none can say the last word on anything; and some reviewers write comments and offer awkward suggestions or advice for they freely think themselves the wise people on earth and they have rights to suggest or advice even if it is not required but they do so simply to prove the worth of their wisdom and their thoughts and there are reviewers who without re-viewing the work, just they write about the flaws in writers; there is nothing perfect, for example, there is no last word said, stated, published or announced or declared to be the best or the most correct or most perfect or most errorless or most demanded or most appropriate, to have been written or published; as there is nothing likeable by all and everyone, when man even criticize and comment on God and God?s activities and when we know and see man even never spares God, man forgets man is man, man forgets man is not God, man often forgets man is a creation by God, but it is true, only truth stands, truth reveals, truth comes out one day, so we get our status or rank or level truly based on our performances or activities; and no one can say the last word on anything but God, only God is wisest, most perfect and can speak the last word for anything, hope you understand my point of view, for I never plead my work, I always think, to err is human and to forgive is divine, man is never perfect, only man can try to be perfect, and I think, there is no harm in writing explanatory notes in author notes; I know the very purpose or objective of author notes is for offering clarifications, explanations to the work produced; it is not foolishness if I use author notes for offering explanations about the work to help readers avoid making foolish assumptions, inadvertent presumptions, redundant thoughts and irrelevant thoughts to explain in their reviews.
With the kindest personal regards,
It is nice that a wise reviewer of your sort is also there; I am sorry I could not satisfy you by writing so many things in my author notes, but you know and appreciate the reason what makes me to write author notes so;
Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you by writing such a long writing, but I think it is not irrelevant and unnecessary;
Please excuse me if any word hurts you, for I have no purpose to hurt you anyway.
Wish you every success in your chosen goal,
ALCREATOR

An interesting out-of-the-box interpretation of the three wise monkeys from Japan. I see the underlying philosophy behind this 'see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.' We need to constantly remind ourselves to keep our mind (monkey) in strict control. Thanks for sharing!

Startling use of imagery--stunning poem--meticulous notes enrichen the piece immeasurably--I am metaphorically challenged so I appreciate the explanation!

Walk with God and believe in his righteousness and the blessing he bestows on us... but if we delve into the darkness, the disbelief and questioning of the Lord, our happiness will be temporary and very short lived. Smiles, CArol
