I love the story of two animals, not necessarily friends, enjoying the garden in their own way. I also liked the educational use of a variety of descriptive words to augment young learner's vocabulary. This is a delightful story. Best wishes in the contest.

That is a great poem for kids with a bunny and a dog co-inhabiting the garden peacefully. It is well written and the picture is cute. I wish you the best of luck in the contest. Evi

This reminds me of Beatrix Potter. It is a lovely poem for a child to read. This poem told a whole story. It's great. Glad Harvey knew how to stay away from the dog. I enjoyed the read.

I immediately recalled owning a per rabbit my dad rescue from the R.R. tracks one night. We named it Johnie Darc, who escaped his pen and ran below a fence guarded by a security man who took him home and fed himself on my lost fur-baby. I wish it would have found Puggrub, instead.

Lovely poem and picture. However, it seems too grown up for a child. M.O.M. ( My Opinion Only). Where does the name Puggrub come from? I have never heard it before, but it is very descriptive. I enjoyed the poem. Karen

Karen, thanks for your M.O.M. I think perhaps that I am calling out the little child in us more mature humanoids.

This is a nicely written for him for children, and I very much enjoyed listening to it. Your presentation is done very well and your wording is exactly what a child would need to read and enjoy.

I am pretty sure this farmer isn't happy that Harvey got into his vegetables, but it does make for a cute contest entry. I'm curious what age group of children are you thinking about for this entry. Good luck with the contest.
