Howard,

This is a great poem. Yes, modern day buildings are build so differently from those in ancient history. It makes you wonder how builders of old did it without equipement.

This is well organized and flows nicely.

I love these ancient relics and I am in awe that these structures stand the test of time. During the summer last year I visited a friend in County Durham and I visited a few castles and ruins and took some amazing photographs of wild deer and wildlife too. I enjoyed your few words here taking me back to my visit and my own Tudor town has buildings dating back to the 1650s, love Dolly x x x

I understand your love for ruins and the past. My first three college years were passed as an Anthropology major with a history minor. Thank you for your thoughts and nice rating.

This is the best and accurate description of the architecture "Ah, architecture,

Enduring through centuries,

History's footsteps." Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

Your poem captures the beauty and strength of architecture so well! I love how you've connected it to the passage of time. "History's footsteps" makes it feel like the buildings are witnesses to everything that's come before. Well done!

I enjoyed your 575 because I am an artist and I'm Greek. In these few syllables you have shared the beauty of architecture with others. Your photo image matches well.

Best wishes,

Alex
