Monty Python!!! Oh, I LOVE that ensemble! The British have a way of being hilarious to me sometimes just by their inflection. The same words from an American's mouth would fall as flat as tires across spikes.

You did such a terrific job with offering up flashes of their best skits (dead parrot) and thereby evoking the hilarity of their genius.

Thank you for the smiles this poem you created bestowed to me this evening. I hope you do great at the polls. Xoxo

Thanks, Rachelle. Writing that poem was a hoot. All I had to do was envision that silly walk of Johns, and the writing flowed. You're right. Only the British can pull that off.
    Xo's to you back.

Thank you for sharing this writing prompt entry with us. I raised four boys who are adults now. They and my husband would watch and laugh at Monty Python for hours. I never got the humor. I feel there's something strange with me. Good luck with contest.

I gotta admit, it took me a while to get into it, but somehow, when I started watching, I was hooked. Theres nothing strange with us, just strange humor watching. Brad >:)

I was never a Monty Python fan as I never though stupidity was funny, but I know this was very popular at the time and your tribute took me back a few years here Brad, love Dolly x x x

Dolly, I think every once in a while, we gotta back away from the outrageous stuff we see, go out, and howl at the moon. To me, Laughter can be the best healer sometimes when there's no other answer. Love ya back.

and hooray for silly humor!
The neatest people are those who can make smart humor silly and fun. Their minds are clicking along throughout their silliness.
Fun poem. Maybe you could revive Monty Dos. ?

oh! The Ministry of Silly Walks! I was talking about that just the other day. Honest. Humor has changed and in most cases not for the better. Now it is humor at the expense of a person or a group of people. Which in my mind isn't humor at all. Loved the poem.. Thanks for sharing.

Bang on! Marilyn. Humor has now gone to political criticizing and alienating other views
    Thank you, much appreciated. Brad
